True story: I once hosted a meeting at ED with Peter Yarrow and @alexdsanchez.bsky.social and he brought his guitar and told us stories and of course advocated for music in schools. Crazy thing is he was in my dad’s fraternity at Cornell and just a few years below him. They were friends. RIP

True story: after Obama won in 08 I left my job as campaign attorney to become a vetting attorney on the Obama/Biden Transition. I began vetting cabinet candidates. I was part of a team of lawyers. We had to do research on all the ways the candidate might be vulnerable to attack.
