This is the Confederate movement, the same folks who destroyed Reconstruction and implemented Jim Crow. They have told us for 150+ years that they are not interested in working with the rest of the population.

At some point (probably the 80s), building a massively successful enterprise that made a lot of money and took care of their employees stopped being a goal. We have been suffering in every capacity with this short term thinking ever since.

Wealth inequality is the worst its been in 100 yrs because as the economy exploded in the 90s and continued to grow from there, the wealthiest & most powerful ppl did everything they could to keep that new wealth for themselves instead of using it to improve the society that allowed them to have it.

Medicaid provides health care to the poor and disabled. That is over 70 million people, which represents over 20% of the population. This for more tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations. 1/5 of our population needs this, that’s how fucked our system is and it still isn’t enough for these ghouls.
