Only 43% of 18-24 years olds bothered to vote in the referendum but over 81% over 65 years olds did and they overwhelmingly voted for brexit destroying the young generations the opportunities to work, live and study in Europe again.

Certainly, I will
Louise is a bit lax using social media (although we see lots of her WhatsApp posts of meals!)

That's great - we meet up with friends from DC at intervals which is always fun.
Our daughter will get to the harp festival some time - her brother lives nearby.
Just after graduating she borrowed the family estate car (!) and went on a solo journey with her harp, finishing at the Isle of Skye.

There's a solar farm nearby with sheep grazing between the rows of panels
When I see the sheep there it leaves me wondering - is it hard to round them up?
(Forgive a stupid question)

Pleased you enjoyed your visit and have something to take away too!
We had an enjoyable stay there many years ago and keep saying we must return - we pass through often when taking the train to Scotland and should break the journey there

Gentler acceleration to lower top speeds might actually reduce pollution perhaps?
And safer roads encouraging more cycling must be a good thing?
20mph (30 kph) seems to be the norm in Europe

How can the 30mph limit be defended when it can be shown to make roads safer for vulnerable users?
(And how everything becomes so much calmer)
You really do notice how fast traffic moves in England after driving in Scotland (and I guess Wales too).

The Royal Institution - Faraday's laboratory - is always on my London visit agenda. Free and if you are lucky the curator will have time to show you the great man's notebooks and his records of Davy's lectures

That's interesting
I grew up with a section in sight just off the beach - it broke away and ran aground when being towed to France.
It is still there on view (Shoeburyness, Essex) and the locals have petitioned in the past to stop its removal and to keep it as a reminder that bleak time
