I suspect that ghoul Stephen Miller has been encouraging escalation. There's a segment of Trump's coterie that believes the 'only good immigrant is a dead one.' I don't think that's hyperbole.

I’m the same way with comic geniuses. I’m often wondering how often Max Brooks is conducting health and wellness checks with his dad.

It's one thing to say "it's not your cup of tea" and another to criticize the artistry. It's not the commentary of a serious person. It's being subversive for the sake off it.

FIFA is about as corrupt as the Trump administration. If they cared about worldwide athletes and fans they'd at the very least be voicing concerns about the US-hosted World Cup. Crickets.

You just know he wants to further the discussion to slavery. Not every slave owner was cruel. Some even allowed them to take occasional meals in the kitchen.

In his novelization of 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood' QT included some scenes of the Bel Air house that included Manson and some other hangers-on. It wouldn't have made sense for the film, but damn I'd kill to see it performed.

One of my favorite anecdotes was Brian hated touring. it was his anxiety issues and just the monotony. He left the road to go into the studio to make Pet Sounds. They replaced him on the tour with a studio player with the same haircut. Nobody noticed!!!! Different times, man. 😕

I'm sure he'll release a statement, but Paul has often said Pet Sounds literally changed everything for him and the Beatles.

'The Beach Boys: Making Pet Sounds' is the best music documentary ever made. The meticulous telling of the story is worthy of the exacting nature of it's main subject. The segment on 'God Only Knows' does a good job as any in showing pure genius.

Is anyone else freaked out that the guy on the far right looks like an appropriately older Gilfoyle from 'Silicon Valley'?

I guess it depends on just how "let's get honest" you're willing to be.

They'll get a hearing for sure. The question is will the judge issue a temporary emergency injunction?

Sir, he never once took his eye off the baseball. Tracked it the whole way. Reminds me of Wille Mays. If you watch the old clips Willie would never take his eye off the ball.

Has there ever been a better final act then Cash with Rubin and American Recordings? Obviously, Rubin is a problematic person, but Jesus that collaboration...

I know this is geeky, but Posse Comitatus is mandatory consultation with the ‘Gang of Eight.’ It’s not required for permission. You are right that its intent was to provide a briefing for high level military actions. Not for an illegal deployment in LA.

Was it Tatiana Maslany in Orphan Black?

Patrick is actually a pretty big guy. He played college football, but claimed he had lost a lot of weight for another role and was positively gaunt. If you recall that scene was rough as hell. Said after it was over Gandolfini kissed him on the forehead and said he loved him.

Robert Patrick played the sporting goods store owner who's daughter was Meadow's friend. The brutal scene where Tony roughs him up was last. Patrick said they went outside for a smoke before filming it. They were about to go in Gandolfini flicked his lit smoke at him as if to say: it's time now.

Watch Chicago. Trump and the National Guard. Whether it’s immigration related or possibly violence on the South Side. It’ll be about Pritzker of course. Newsom is a haircut; Pritzker has a pair. I’m sure he’s already gaming a response.

There’s a Sidney Lumet doc on Prime Video. It’s a few years old, but it’s mostly him talking about film interspersed with clips. Every shred of that man’s soul was imbued with empathy. There aren’t prototypical heroes and villains in his work. It’s what makes his films so damn interesting.

I admire Barack Obama, but he was a practitioner of the ‘rise above’ stance. It may be noble, but in today’s political reality it’s a losing strategy.

You said it shortly after the election. Essentially, this is what the American people voted for and now they'll face the consequences. I hope they're happy that some trans kid can't swim in a high school meet or they won't have to wear a mask during the next health crisis. They won!

There's no way for you to know this, but I'm having a crap day and that made me literally laugh-out-loud. Social media does occasionally have a positive impact. Carry on.

Sir, it's possible to have a great political mind and still be a lousy politician. You dig?

Listened to a podcast about some of our greatest TV writers/showrunners not having a fulfilling 2nd act. Chase of course. Also Weiner. Gilligan. Benioff & Weiss. I think the larger point it would be amazing if they had. Ten-ish years of your life poured into a massive project. The tank is empty.

I've always felt that in his heart Dale knows the truth, but he loves Nancy and Joseph so very much. In 250 + episodes it's really the only constant in his life.

On top of his prodigious talent Hartman was supposedly a wonderful guy. I've heard fellow SNL castmates all these years later still broken up about his passing especially the circumstances surrounding it.

Let's say you buy a dozen a week and are paying even $2 more per carton, which a high estimate. That means your egg expenditure is a $100 + higher annually then the past. It's certainly a hardship for some, but obviously not him. It's not smart.

Sir, I always though a season or two with Schwarber playing in the Bronx would be intriguing. His particular lefty swing at Yankee Stadium would be a match made in heaven. Given the Yankee's roster and more inevitable Judge games as DH as he ages the timing would be wrong.

Shortly after the incident she said it was devastating for her family particularly her children. Now it's just disappointing? She should have herself booked on every cable news outlet and those dumb Sunday morning shows screaming bloody murder.

Sir, the Soto situation confuses me. He played very well for the Yankees last season. If anything the Mets are a slight step down in terms of expectations and scrutiny. Did Boone and the organization do a better job of onboarding him? Was it Judge's protection in the lineup and steady presence?

Sir, the necessity of throwing inside is different than purposefully hitting a guy as it rarely happens in the modern game. OBP drives ball today. No pitcher or skip wants the traffic. Also player movement is such that the guy you bean may be a future teammate. The best revenge is getting the out.
