Corruption is their kryptonite. We must hammer away at keeping the issue front and center.

Your history is a little off there. I’d say more but it’s SM and I’m sure you don’t care what I think so we move on.

Hitler was anti smoking way before it was a widespread attitude.

Posting links like this doesn’t address my point except by keyboard warrior standards. It’s a complex issue and you choose to act like a fox news viewer. Also, you can’t expect anyone to want to engage if you say they are a murderer if they don’t agree with you. This is just weak and self-centered.

Journalism faces many challenges but rest assured AI isn’t high on the list. Everything they say it’ll do will always be “just around the corner”. At this point anyone saying AI is going to transform anything is either ignorant of how the technology actually works or is selling something.

You should question the reality of “advanced artificial intelligence” first. At this point its like worrying that an evil wizard is about to show up and turn you into a frog

I would suggest you are assuming a lot about what LLM/AI is and will be capable of. Most people seem to not understand the technology and its limitations and are accepting whole hog what is essentially as sales pitch.

Waveland Cafe, Des Moines IA is the gold standard IMO.
