Are these book quotes? Your comment and the main post, I mean.

I was really hoping to hear the words come out of his mouth. Do you know how many people would turn against him? Many.

In 2022 we only relied on coal as an energy source 19.5% out of all other energy sources. We have been moving away from fossil fuels, and they want to increase our reliance on them.

Sorry I am not totally sure what you are saying here.

You mean all the funding they're pulling from federal programs and agencies? Yeah they aren't interested in fighting climate change. They want to bring back coal mining and oil drilling in the states.

Or really y'all are just trying to waste everyone's time by demanding evidence when the evidence is broadcast for everyone to see if you'd just think critically. No one has to do your homework for you.

Corporate greed is the main reason why the US isn't moving into greater environmental innovations, from tech to mitigate pollution, ocean acidification, and renewable energy, to the medical industrial complex that could save so many people if it weren't a major source of profit.

Yeah, that would be tough to accomplish in the near future. I'd be happy if we had respectable leaders and rejoined the Paris agreement, NATO, and the WHO, as well as made changes to reestablish a true democracy without lobbyists and corporate pacs. And remove obstacles for voting.

Lol right. Right now though? No. You could have any political leaning and be against the current administration. ✌️

Just because something is difficult doesn't mean it's impossible. You shouldn't give up hope. Times are scary though. I learned so much in microbiology, so many discoveries and innovations that could be implemented on a large scale but aren't because of capitalism. We can make it if we fight.

Yet mainstream media rarely shares their sources. They post articles and they just are the "source" and the entire nation believed them up until very recently. We just have to trust that they are reporting honestly. Even video documentation can be misrepresented to fit their narrative.

Clearly they have other people's confidence and trust. They are working to resist, not educate people. There was a time when educating was the goal but that has long past. You don't have to trust them. But who you do trust says a lot about your values.

If we used innovative science it could still be turned around. But politics and capitalism are in the way.

Are you a troll? Jfc dude.

If you don't believe something someone else says it's your responsibility to educate yourself or get over it.

Will you be joining the general strike then? Are you marching? Are you boycotting? Are you organizing your own resistance? Are you participating in mutual aid?

I will not sacrifice myself for nothing. There are other ways. At this point in time it's not worth the risk doing it alone. If you work the kind of job where you don't have to fill out tax forms at the start of your employment then you don't have to commit a felony to withhold your taxes.

This is a statement not an opinion. And you could just look it up yourself like I did a week ago. I think people should stop paying your taxes. I would if I didn't have to lie under perjury to do so but I fill out a W4.
comment in response to post
Take it to the ACLU? Maybe people could stop paying their taxes and instead pay them?
comment in response to post
I already tried to stop paying my federal taxes but to do so on my tax form requires commiting a felony. Is that how it's always been? I don't recall the "under perjury" part ever being there before.

They fired the IRS agents who are supposed to monitor corporate taxes.

Citibank also removed DEI from their company policies. In case anyone needs more of a reason to boycott them. I'm curious if there are any financial institutes that branch off of Citibank. Like how conglomerates own multiple brands and buy out small businesses without changing the packaging.

I thought it was an all out economic black out, not just for those three? I've been telling everyone to just not spend any money at all.

Yeah, it would also be great if people didn't set ballot boxes on fire throughout Washington and Oregon.
