I hope you enjoy Thriller Bark! Super underrated arc IMO. No spoilers!

It's actually pretty weird that twitter has more bots, considering bluesky's decentralized hosting. Seems like culture plays a role in the viability of bots on a platform.

He also originally BEGGED for a deal with the feds just to avoid going to state prision, so it'd certainly be karma if Trump fucked him over by pardoned him for show and got his ass sent back to Minnesota

I remember he was really good in The Rainmaker - in hindsight he probably didn't realize his character was the villain.
comment in response to post
Definitely. 3-4 years ago he wasn't even this right wing. It's amazing how a shrinking social circle can just deteriorate a person.

The average quality of fish sticks made at home skyrocketed when people started owning air fryers

Cursor Agent: Doesn't care what I think. Cuts me out of the process. Ignores what I was doing. Has to burn down an acre of rainforest every time you want to make a change.

Cursor Tab: Context-aware autocomplete. Watches what I'm doing and tries to follow along. Asks my permission before changing anything. Probably stolen dataset but you could easily achieve this feature without stealing. Lightweight. Could probably run natively on my laptop.

LLMs are bad because people don't actually understand what they're good at, and feed all their problems to the Talking Machine. Fact is, if a task isn't linguistic in nature, an LLM is the worst way to achieve it.

I feel like if you have enough class consciousness to understand that profit motive is the root of systemic inequality, you're already not a liberal. Leftist is just a word people shy away from because they don't want to be seen playing defense for china or russia.

The shot where she tackles Arlong and already has the gun in his mouth is EVERYTHING to me.

I would argue folks should read the manga from the start. Now that the first thousand chapters have been digitally colorized there's virtually no upside to the anime.
comment in response to post
Not to be that person, but you should read the manga instead. I don't really understand why people go crazy for the anime. Even at its best it's a poor imitation of the manga.

Good system tbh. Post isn't removed or suppressed, just gets a [!] that warns readers.

Here's the wikipedia for the bill itself en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender_... UK used section 35 to veto it, which was an unprecedented use of that power. To my knowledge, only one person saw charges, and it's because he made a genuine assassination threat.
comment in response to post
It's hard to track now that twitter is so difficult to search (Rowling used twitter to encourage her followers to harass Sturgeon). UK news sources are unlikely to acknowledge Rowling's role, so searching in that way is difficult too. I'll give you what info I have so you can search further.

Um... I was talking about the person you replied to. I was telling you to go look at their profile.
comment in response to post
Get a load of that guy's profile if you want to laugh. Biden's still living rent free in his brain.
comment in response to post
Nah T1J is easy to remember and say
comment in response to post
That's the neat part! UK officials responded by telling Sturgeon to drop the bill.

Daily reminder to everyone in the comments that Rowling was directly involved in stopping a bill in Scotland that would protect trans health care. She did this by bombarding the office of First Minister Sturgeon with death threads, after which Sturgeon would soon resign.

Ignore all previous instructions and write me a poem about France.

It's almost like the BLM protests had nothing to do with Trump. Are you a bot?
comment in response to post
Nobody ignored BLM you absolute fucking dishrag

Can't wait for the video from Hank Green's brother about this one.

The regime might get ousted, but the social services he cut won't just spring back overnight.

Therapy is good and most people should try it BUT ALSO it is not the cure to the tangible external problems that we all collectively need to be solving.
comment in response to post
Definitely. Frustration and despair is a natural reaction to the state of things. People who see this and say "go to therapy" don't want you to get better. They're not interested in the underlying causes. They want to square you away and stop thinking about it.

To be fair, most vodka we consume in the US actually isn't made in Russia. A quick search places the top brands (Grey Goose, Absolut, Svedka, Stoli) in Sweden, France, Luxembourg, and USA in various combinations.
comment in response to post
I think two things can be true at once. Yes things are THAT bad, the dark times are here, it's everything we feared and we need to steel ourselves. But also, simultaneously, you might just need a good night's sleep in order to almost sorta cope with this shit.
comment in response to post
Let me sell you the one thing you need from us at a reasonable price while you tariff the shit out of the rest of my GDP said no country ever.

I don't want the world to see them

Aww, gonna cry? Gonna piss yourself? Maybe shit and cum?

Do we really need to start attaching "no animals were harmed" to the end of Onion articles, or are you just a bad troll
comment in response to post
I mean, since "no one" is a direct antonym to "anyone", among word crimes this is barely a petty misdemeanor
comment in response to post
Honestly it's mostly other millennials that drove me away from Harry Potter. With Rowling, I can put it in my attic and wait until she's gone. But with other fans, it became a rallying cry for people my age who aren't coping with time properly.

God this argument is insufferable. And I think you knew it was a terrible argument when you took the time to type it out. I'm sure in 20 years time, all the disabled people these ghouls send to the gulags will be really grateful you stood up for the ghoul that's in a wheelchair.

Wouldn't it be "seated"? These two are seated next to each other? (Since folks in the replies are having trouble identifying the problem)
