wonder if holo taco or mooncat would give me freebies if I offered to do some tiny paintings with them? mostly want more excuses to do nail art.

early doctors appointments have been disrupting that option

worse is the kittens are finally becoming cats and not waking me up at all cuz they prefer to get cozy now. so this isnt even their fault.

He's the Wormtongue of the administration. Him and Elon were basically in direct competition as "Vizier", or "Actual President", as Trump is largely just golfing and doesn't even know what his admin is doing (the auto-pen accusations they aim at Biden are a big hint)

For context, Stephen Miller is the millennial channer who looks like he's 80 who is the architect of all the anti-immigration bullshit happening right now, including getting ICE to behave/dress like straight-up gestapo. He's like the ONLY holdover from Trump's first admin.

The "big beautiful bill" is promising an end to tesla's subsidies and SpaceX's contracts that and Elon fucked Stephen Miller's wife (he blamed his black eye on his 5 year old...but him and Miller's wife loudly declared their relationship and leaving the admin at the same time so....)

I think it's actually a really cool flag, esp since I like busy-color. Makes me think of amazing abstract paintings I've seen.

Can't speak highly enough of my friends and neighbors who helped then. Cats aren't free, even street cats.

I sent your post to a friend of mine who works at Chewy. Hopefully they help you guys out. Kitten season is a nightmare and shelters are still reeling from the sharp drop in support since Covid. I had to personally juggle several litters last year and it was rough, even with momma around.

this is why i put a lot of energy into virtual office set up. but also scheduling lil trips. unfortunately, lil trips become pretty infrequent the busier i get. which is always

imagine if those insurance scams where someone jumps out in front of a vehicle worked like this irl

Weirdly though, some primer and gel-polish seem to curb the need. Strengthens my nail and I still cut them back before they grow beyond my skin (and get annoying). The smoother texture is nice to my fingers across as a stim (also a better stim over all)

I actually tear mine apart rather quickly. I've just taken to carrying a smooth file and a pair of clippers everywhere, and having several sets around the house. Figured if I can't stop it, I can at least prevent myself from causing an infection.

another positive: less stinky (if polish makes you wince)
comment in response to post
there is some actual polish design underneath (see image of what it was before i marked it up) but i gotta be honest this was an easier way to apply a look without making the nail all lumpy. And a lot easier to handle too, even left handed.

No I've never had a negative interaction with these birds. Only thing I can imagine would stir up such a mood is a baby on the ground somewhere.

I have a comic on hiatus where these things mob zombies as a defense for my protag Kate. Thinking I made the right choice there. Even one swipe from that beak would've been a big chunk of scalp. Glad it held back a little.

Then it's probably just Kheil with a hat
comment in response to post
Kheil putting on the writer/artist's hat for a moment Speaking of, have you ever thought about having some kind of sona you speak through? Even just an story-distinct Kheil?
comment in response to post
yeah we had that issue last year with Ada and all those cats. The current batch of local fleas just shrug off the usual skin stuff.

comment in response to post
he's not an animator but i think it's just a common SoCal hat.

literally just ran into a guy wearing this and asked him why he chose it "some friends of mine said it looked like i should wear it. and you can crush it or roll it up without damaging it"
