The person who can go at trump no holds barred will be the one who wins in 2028, full stop.

I'm the only guy with "strategy" in my title in a company of ~200. Getting 200 people to do something they all WANT to do takes about 3-6 months if you're goddamn brilliant, 6-12 if you're good. Trump, presiding over a bureaucracy of 2.7m and a country of 340m, is a senile lunatic forcing a coup.

If anything, a major reason for the escalation is precisely because the administration has run into a stumbling block in enforcing their mass deportation plans: people ain't having it and are pushing back. Miller doesn't have enough people to make 'remigration' possible. So it's bloviating time.

I’ve found that in-person gives people an excuse to travel and schmooze, paid for if lucky. I frankly am glad we have online options.

Protest-splaining is a thing

I think we're hip to the pattern now. Burn it down-then rush in to try to fix it-take credit 4 the fix-blame Biden 4 the mess. It's a recipe he's now over used. No one takes what he says seriously anymore except those who benefit from doing his bidding.

It's interesting how the same reporters who clamored for the sheer drama and intensity of the trump administration now spend so much time watering its actions down and sanewashing to make it seem boring and routine.

Racist "real American" and "heartland" conservative bias at media like NYT is so pervasive that senior editors and politics reporters admitted they don't think Black Americans count as Midwestern Living in bucolic cities in blue states while demonizing them and claiming to know "heartland" America

Because rural areas are somehow sacrosanct- that's where the "authentic Americans" live and we all know that NO ONE works as hard as they do 🙄

Newsome's recent actions were frustrating, but I'll be damned if he doesn't know how to deal with trump and MAGA incompetents. This is how it's done.

Frankly I'm sick of areas with 10 people per square mile getting to call the fucking shots in this country

Where is the incentive to enforce the constitution? Trump will just pardon them anyway🤷🏻

The Epstein Files are the equivalent of the hidden treasure shows on the History Channel

put a little differently, trump is creating a clear hierarchy of states based on nothing other than his arbitrary political preferences. some states, and thus some citizens, will be disadvantaged for no other reason than that the president does not like they don't obey his will.

The Epstein files are becoming like those History Channel lost treasure shows which drag on for 5 seasons with a whole lot of filler for a whole lot of nothing

We’ve watched too many of those hyped up treasure hunt shows to not know how this will end 🥱

yet another case to be challenged in court, but he's a slow learner

And for all the fuss about primaries here in the US, the turnout rate is abysmal.

Can’t have fun though. We have to turn it into “distractions” and “4D chess” with a generous helping of “we won’t have another election again” for good measure
comment in response to post
Cue the “that’s what you get for not having a candidate go through a primareeeeeeeeeee” posts 🙄
comment in response to post
It figures that we can’t even have something enjoyable for more than one day before it’s back to the slog of doomscrolling and “4D chess we’ll never have elections again” posts

It never fails- any time there’s a key moment of fun that highlights weakness on their part we manage to talk it up into some sort of secret genius move, then wonder why “nothing brings them down”
