Especially that first video with all the people in the background sounding like they are having a good time is a really hard punch in the gut if you see yourself as the addressee and have been through anything similar, making that vid a piece of art itself. Also the bruised heart one ... damn!

Scorcese used that in a wonderfully chaotic scene in Bringing Out The Dead with Tom Sizemore behind the wheel and Cage driving shotgun, inhaling ...

Right? I was a little young when they showed it on tv, knew only Dune and later watched Wild at Heart, Lost Highway, and Mulholland Drive, but as soon as I saw this it felt like David Lynch's world really opened up to me.

Sorry for not getting back earlier, had to visit a friend. But yeah, that's understandable, being a writer yourself. I don't listen to a lot of music if I am producing myself either, but draw inspiration from my past listening behaviours rather.

Just finished this. Surely carries the same vibe as that documentary I recommended to you, but I really had to think twice on why he has a problem with all those urb-ex people, deeming abandoned places to be sacred, not tourist attractions. Many pros and cons to be argued on both sides, I guess ...

Having worked together in the past with ADs of graffiti artist backgrounds, this should certainly spray my walls. Thank you for sharing!

Some US labels just press and manufacture in the EU for EU distro and stay within the US for that market. I like your thinking here, though! Could be interesting for those labels who self-distribute. I know some labels used their local record shops, maybe from their hometown scene as distro.
