Canada was the fourth country in the world to legalize same-sex marriage after the Netherlands (2001), Belgium (2003) and Spain (2005).
It was the first country to legalize same-sex marriage for non residents.
Today, about 70% of Canadians approve of same-sex marriage.

He was mayor for 9 years and in the 2023 election, it was his allies who were most vocal about how bad Toronto had become
Not to mention this scandal that should have been a bigger deal, but he conveniently resigned before it broke

The musical is much better in my opinion. I don’t think they talk as much, so then it makes sense to use the songs to move the plot
The movie felt more like fan service to me. It’s great if you already love Wicked and wished it was bigger and longer, but that’s not for everyone
