Noch ein paar Ananasstücke dazu?

That's why I talk about bitcoin. You will never see me shill crypto trash.

Yeah, all those paper bitcoin! They will go to ZERO.

When / If SHA256 can be "broken", #bitcoin will be the least of our worries.

When was the last time you paid for the groceries in gold?

We have been telling you about the inevitable USD inflation for over 10 years now. You had (and still have) plenty of time to act.

Your are confusing cause and effect.

That will only happen, if it actually is worth to do so. That is the beauty of this self regulating process.

I read somewhere that while Willow uses around 100 qubits, around 100,000 would be needed for it do anything remotely relevant.

Yeah, scam, tulips and all of that. For over ten years now! When will we finally learn?

Zero boxes ticked. But then again, I am not into crypto. I am into bitcoin.

Bitcoin's energy consumption is not accidental; it's a well thought out design choice that ensures the network's security and resilience.
comment in response to post
Predicting this is not feasible because the required energy is directly related to the mining difficulty at that time, which is currently unknown.

The Bitcoin whitepaper is neutral on the matter of Bitcoin ownership and doesn't impose restrictions.

Thanks for confirming my point :-)

Couple of months ago the german government sold about 50.000 BTC. Price has about doubled since then.

I'm a bitcoiner since 2013. I am not into "crypto", only bitcoin. I do not share your view from above. #Bitcoin is quite the opposite of a degen invest. It is an invest into the fastest, biggest and most secure computer network in existence. And that network is just one of the things backing #BTC.

Satoshis exist.

Again and again...how is this legal? Romania is literally re running an election because of Russian interference on TikTok. Dark money funding US campaigns originates from Russia, bitcoin magnates, extreme ideologues...it is ridiculous that this is possible.

Sorry für die blöde Frage: Wenn ich diese / eine Blockliste abonniere, werden die darin enthaltenen Accounts automatisch geblockt?
comment in response to post
Ernstgemeinte Frage: Bringt es einen messbaren Erfolg, solche kleinen Accounts (4 Follower) zu blocken?
comment in response to post
Is there anything you like? Anything that makes you happy?

For once, I agree with you.

Denkst Du, dass proaktives Blocken helfen könnte um das Ranking solcher "Leute" zu reduzieren? Oder bringt das angesichts der Menge nichts?

"According to monitoring data, Musk's companies' positions in bitcoin are worth $2 billion, with Tesla holding 11,509 bitcoins ($1.17 billion) and SpaceX holding 8,285 bitcoins ($842 million)...". Musk as a private person also holds a huge stack. www.bitget.com/news/detail/...

I never talked about "crypto". I talk about bitcoin. And of course I do not see bitcoin and gold as the same. Bitcoin is vastly superior to gold in every aspect (except where gold is actually useful as a metal per se).

The most used currency by organized crime is the USD.

So the worlds biggest, fastet, and moste secure computer network that 'runs' the bitcoin blockchain does not exist?
comment in response to post
Yes, I invested greatly. Over 10 years ago. And I do not want to lose money. That's *why* I invested in bitcoin.
comment in response to post
How is it more ponzi than gold?
comment in response to post
By that logic that should not be buying gold either.
comment in response to post
If you people would only spend 15 minutes to actually read the bitcoin whitepaper...
comment in response to post
Low income Americans don't own gold either. So a *shift* from gold to bitcoin would make absolutely no difference.
comment in response to post
The money for bitcoin comes from the money they sold the gold for. It is +-0.
comment in response to post
He's saying the US will sell gold in order to buy bitcoin.

I wrote virtually free. If I want to send 10.000 USD worth of bitcoin from the US to e.g. Japan, I can do so within less than a second. The fee (right now) would be the equivalent of $0.000983. If I have an existing lightning channel with the recipient the fee would be literally $0.00.
comment in response to post
When you send money via paypal, do you need to type in the value in bits and bytes? do you need to know the tcp/ip address of the recipient? You can send lightning payments in the form of "2 USD to grandma". Gets delivered in a second, virtually free and it is secured by the bitcoin blockchain.

Well, then investing is not for you and you'll just have to swallow the USD inflation.
