Yeah I'm not entirely sure the structure works, with the abrupt transition from mystery to high-concept fantasy and (very) convoluted time paradox stuff midway through

Ah yes, Twitter, the platform that banned the word "cisgender"

For gender critical ideology to work I think there has to be a degree of historical revisionism. How else do you explain why trans people existing wasn't a big deal 10/15 years ago even though trans people have no more rights now than they did then?

Strongly disagree with this list.

Belinda was introduced as someone whose response to the Doctor was "I'm not taking any of your BS, I'm not adventure for you, just get me home," and somehow that has been retconned into "I need to get home for my husband and daughter," which apart from anything else is just far less interesting

I'm sure every trans person would love to be "getting on with the shit they want to be getting on with" right now, but unlike gender critical people, trans people do not have that luxury.

*bunch of horrific stuff happens to trans people*
JKR: "Oh but look, this trans person said "be afraid." Therefore none of that stuff can be happening."
That's basically the logic in operation here.

As I understand it's people who are traditionally right wing voters who defected from the Tories after disillusionment with Partygate etc. they weren't really Labour "supporters" to begin with

Oh yeah and the word "cisgender" is literally considered a slur and banned, it's inescapably a far right wing platform.

Honestly I wish more people would leave. I sort of get why people don't want to, but also it's literally owned and run by a fascist.

The Mind Robber is great if you're into weird and whimsical stuff. Best way to summarise it is there's a cliffhanger in which the characters are about to be transformed into fiction, and the visual used to represent this is they are literally being shut inside a giant book

Zagreus by: Gary Russell and Alan Barnes: Here we have the official 40th anniversary story for Doctor Who and it’s one of those stories that people hated on initial release but they’ve warmed to it. This massive, near four hour story is one that takes all the dangling threads that Big Finish had

That’s not hyperbole, that’s really how it is. The demands being made by JK Rowling over Twitter, as she sits on the deck of her super yacht or in her Scottish castle, are considered more important by the Labour government than every trans person in the country.
