This is, I guess, as good a time as any to let friends here know I was laid off this week and that I'm looking for work. I have 15+ combined years in games marketing, narrative, writing, & bizdev. So, hey, if you know anybody hiring, my DMs are open.

Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

Hey, I'm a US citizen but I live overseas. I can call my representatives, but I can't physically show up for anything. Looking for suggestions on ways to still be helpful from abroad. Also, if they're anxiety-friendly (i.e., I can do them without fighting with people) even better. 😬

I picked up a mobile Football Manager game a while back. Never got far, but it's a genre I'd like to actually try. Nice to see a company making the hard choice of quality over short-term sales. I'll definitely be picking up FM26 later this year to give it a go based on the ethical dev reported here.

My child (8) just finished playing Portal 2!! It was the first "major" game they played all the way, mostly without parental aid! So after going back and playing Portal 1 (lol, out of order makes sense, trust me), what would be good games with a similar vibe? PS: I'm a super proud dad! 🤔

I both love and hate when I get a new album before #MusicBrainz has it in their DB. I love being able to contribute; but I also have zero confidence that I'm doing it right. Literally every time, I'm terrified I'm gonna get yelled at for messing up the whole DB by trying to add my album...

#ADHD life hack: pick a project such that the yak shaving involves at least one other project you want to do. I sat down to learn Commodore programming and ended up printing and binding a book. Both things I want to have done. Doesn’t matter that I got sidetracked. 🙃

Having mostly been a PC gamer for the last decade, going back to PS5 is really helping my #adhd to stay engaged with my games. The device is only used for games, which means I just keep the one game loaded up, and it’s already there, no need to decide to play it or not.
