You've built your entire career around the anticipation of an imminent decline of the West. What a fucking loser.

Italy I had no doubts it would have changed side, it is historically opportunistic. This time it does not get how fucked it will get. If u select dumb politicians, u get dumb choices.

Am I the only one who thinks this is not nearly enough? Is Europe trying to seriously win the war, or just buy time and not upset the masses?
Ukraine needs 110% backing immediately, one big push to make that castle of cards called Russia collapse. It is worth a try for the history books.

Not mad, perplexed at your original post.
How about ru$$!a goes back home w/out any annexation, and Zelenskyy keeps Ukraine 🇺🇦 borders w/out annexation as well.
Civilized retreat and peace ☮️ not capitalist derived.

It's not for individuals on Bluesky to work out...this is something officials in all of Europe plus whoever is sane in the USA needs to work on collectively, instead of caving to Trump and effectively Putin. Your support of this puts an awful lot of faith in Trump when we know he's Putins lackey.

Mark. They aren’t negotiating. Negotiation requires Ukraine. They are being extorted. There were only three countries “negotiating” in Riyadh. The U.S., Russia, and Saudi Arabia. There is no Ukraine. This is Yalta.

Except...
And I can't believe I have to write this.
It's NOT our (or Russia's) land. This means it's not our (or Russia's) resources.
None of the land is "annexed." it's an ongoing war! We should be aggressively backing Ukraine for the win!
Shame on you, Mark Cuban, for this post.

Praising this administration? Now?
Bad timing.
100s of 1000s of people losing jobs & livelihoods, for no good reason. Many of them w/ advanced degrees, decades of experience & stellar work reviews.
Agencies that influence the entire world: NIH, CDC, NSF, NASA being decimated.
For minerals? 🤷♀️

Well thanks for confirming that there isn’t a single billionaire on this planet who wouldn’t sell out an entire population if he could make even more money.

Isn't what you are suggesting the pillage and exploitation of a country torn by war?
Had the US been marching on the ground and occupied Russia, I would understand this discussion point better.
But from my view, we funded just enough aid to put Ukraine in this position.

Every fifth thing you post reminds me why you're just another sycophant capitalist who doesn't deserve a seat at the table of what best serves the people.

Dude. You are showing your ass (Grandad's saying) on the Ukraine situation. Your greed over compassion is evident.
If you want the U.S. to "get" those resources, maybe post about the U.S. helping Ukraine expel Russia. After which Ukraine will WANT to trade with us.
If not... move in China.

Mark,
Are you suggesting that Ukraine should agree to Trump's quid pro quo? That's nuts.
IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW LONG IT MIGHT TAKE FOR A SOVEREIGN NATION TO DEVELOP ITS RESOURCES.
It's THEIR decision to make.
You seem to be looking at this as a business quandary. IT'S NOT.

🎯🎯🎯 Cuban is just another douche bag 1%er trying to take over a social media platform. He tried to buy Bluesky and his presence here trying to seduce the left, is to make us forget he’s a fucking GOP billionaire. Fuck this guy

Also, and this is what troubles me, though Ukraine resisted Russia to save their democracy, they also did it for us, the members of NATO. They, through, tremendous sacrifice, showed us the flaws in the Russian military, showed the weakness of a military under a despot. We owe Ukraine.

Are we just going to engage in geopolitical usury now lol? The deal would've made sense if it was even the slightest bit of "fair", but asking for 50% of all natural resources, forever, is a gunpoint robbery of the highest degree. The treaty of Versailles comes to mind for a reason.

This does not seem to me to be the right question, but rather: Why does a country that offered help without compensation now ask for 4 times more than it gave? It is a horrible usury mixed with blackmail, arrogance and abuse, taking advantage of the situation in Ukraine. Ugly and evil.
