Canadian physician here, very well said. Their table misrepresents NACI’s recommendations. The policy paper also doesn’t address the fact that COVID vaccination reduces the risk of Long COVID

COVID vaccines:
- reduce viral shedding
- reduce illness severity
- reduce incidence of longcovid
Getting these vaccines which are safe and effective should be a decision between a patient and their doctor not dictated by the pro-disease GBD brigade.

Many people only accepted the vaccines once Novavax became available. It was an alternative for folks who developed rare adverse effects with mRNA vaccines. The product is safe and effective and any decisions to vaccinate should be between the patient and their doctor.
