I became instantly “famous” for analyzing the Bus Scene in Shang-chi and the 10 Rings from the perspective of an actual San Francisco Muni operator. Still one of the all time weirdest things that’s happened to me. I was an answer on Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me the NPR News quiz. @petersagal.bsky.social

Nope, not even modeled off the key, it's just a hooked shim. (Basically: there's enough space he can get it *around the entire lock assembly* and just flip the latch)
