I became instantly “famous” for analyzing the Bus Scene in Shang-chi and the 10 Rings from the perspective of an actual San Francisco Muni operator. Still one of the all time weirdest things that’s happened to me. I was an answer on Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me the NPR News quiz. @petersagal.bsky.social

In one of his shorts he shows a cutaway of the lock he made to demonstrate what's happening, I'll see if I can find it later

Nope, not even modeled off the key, it's just a hooked shim. (Basically: there's enough space he can get it *around the entire lock assembly* and just flip the latch)

One of the tools he uses to demonstrate the pickability of these locks is just a shim he cut out of an aluminum can.

Does "Getting so angry they stroke out" count as killing yourself, or being killed by your opponent? I'm betting on that one for at least one.

HE COULD READ ANCIENT GREEK.

Yeah, like. It's a word I'll use to describe other people (Like one of my college roommates was a genius with linguistics. He once taught himself intro Arabic over a summer because he was bored. He could converse with the students from Japan fluently, in Japanese, despite having never had a course.)

It is astounding to me how much worse google search has gotten in the past 15 years.

Yeah, you could VERY EASILY make some very, VERY fucking broken builds. In fact, the fact that it did not exactingly try for balance was one of the things that made it fun!

1/ "But you will not abide the election of a Republican president! In that supposed event, you say, you will destroy the Union; and then, you say, the great crime of having destroyed it will be upon us! That is cool.

Counter-argument: Trump and the republicans are, you know. Also capable of acting and chosing. If Trump crashes the the economy because Democrats said a mean thing about him *that's not their fault*. Even if he literally said "Stop saying mean things about me or I'll crash the economy!"

To add to this I'd also probably not ... y'now. *post my plans on social media*.
