Today is a catastrophic fire danger day. I got an alert that I was in a watch zone for a bushfire. I am so grateful that unlike other times the local volunteers were funded with equipment including multiple water bombers and were able to get the bushfire under control. Vote to fund CFS/CFA.

⬆️⬆️⬆️Norovirus cases Alcohol based hand gel does NOT kill it. Manually scrub your hands to decontaminate. Sick folk use a separate toilet. Flush loo with lid down. Regularly clean high touch surfaces with bleach. It is spread by vomit + faeces. Isolate sick folk at home for 48hours post last symptoms.

Tonight I took my dogs for a walk on the beach during off leash hours. When the littlest one got tired she started lagging so we turned back and I carried her. But the bigger one, when she had enough, she trotted onto the footpath to ensure we followed her beeline to the car. 😂😂😂 She's gassed.

Audiobooks are just accessible books. Personally, I wish more textbooks had audiobook options. Medical textbooks as audiobooks would be a game changer for students with dyslexia. If you have any influence/ability to make it happen? @drnicktalley.bsky.social @drclavikul.bsky.social
