I think those posts are so predatory!

For years I only practiced asana. Now it is more a tool to help others who want to grow their practice in other ways ❤️🪷

We have a great yoga community on this platform! Welcome! 🪷🧘‍♀️

Heck yes! You're doing great!

Why not reply? We should shine a light on poor behaviors. Behaviors like judgment and being unkind. Especially unprovoked. That reflects much more poorly on the giver than the receiver. Besides, we don't need more of that in the world. It's bad enough.

I have a similar story. Give it a sniff. It smells like garbage...just like the dumpster fire I clawed my way out of. Don't invalidate people's stories. It's never our place to do that. It's not the vibe.

You made your bed and now you lay down make snow angels in it! 😂😂😂

Nice! That's a great way to experience places!

Same! I found that the things I learned from them, I now automatically do on my own to fall asleep.

What was your favorite part about it?

You're welcome! If you find a stallmat is too heavy duty, your local box box hardware or a flooring store sometimes have thinner rubber they can cut to size for you. Another option, while not aesthetically pleasing, would be a sheet of plywood with a rubber strip around the edges to protect toes.

Yes! You can get them at places like Tractor Supply. They are hard rubber and super heavy. They don't stick.

I think my own private meditation during the work day has pretty much cemented my introverted goblin status. 😂 Beats the hell out of a meeting that should've been an email and they can't see me rolling my eyes.

When you think about it, if you're sitting on the couch and you are considering how it "feels"... The shape, texture, cushion squishiness... You are experiencing the present and your mind may find momentary relief from other racing thoughts. It's an exercise for your senses. That's mindfulness.

I prefer stall mats. They are heavy duty

I feel so lucky to live there half the year. I've said so many times that I don't know what I did to deserve it!

That is a great trick! I like to count backwards from 100. If I lose my place, I start over. Losing my place generally means it's working 😂😂

That is a great resolution! Yoga rocks!

I don't find so much that it blunts them, but it has allowed me to Let Go... Let Be and Go Forward.

You can never go wrong with a tech break! I unplugged for a month this year and it was amazing how my mood plummeted when I returned.

Do what works! I've found tracking and keeping a streak of some sort motivates me to keep going.

It's so easy to get distracted or skip for some us when we don't have that space. About a year ago I bought a school bus that I've been transforming into my space to breathe.

So sorry for your loss.

Why is it a no? Getting paid to meditate sounds like a sweet gig.

I couldn't get into AA. Nice people, but the blame shifting was too much for me. Yoga and Meditation play a far greater role in my soberish lifestyle.

So true! That is such a huge block for many. They think they can't mediate because they have thoughts. We have no control of our thoughts. We do have the ability to acknowledge them and not become attached.

Congratulations!!!! That's so exciting!
