What a match. United played some unbelievable football in that game, sometimes lost in the dramatic result.

The day I went from a casual go to pub watch football and drinking beer with my mates to becoming a Manchester United supporter π

Top 3 United players of time?

That's an almost impossible question to answer I think. For the impact he had, definitely but top 3 of all time? I'm not so sure.

I got a Scouse steward to get a side door opened.... thank God.
The madness of it was the guy who was giving me a ticket had never met me... and I called to say I had been arrested and he still dropped my ticket at the Custody Suite. What a legend.

I got arrested that day pre match and spent the first half in the police cells at Anfield. Got out in time to scuff in for HT.... and see the goals. Mint. π

I was six when I got this shirt. My first ever United shirt and I wasnβt mad for it initially but I grew to love it.

Despite only being 11 I thought it was a stupid looking jersey at the time.
Games define memories of a jersey and there were great games with that kit - as a result I look back on it fondly and I now love it.

My son loved this shirt. We bought him home and away every year from his 2nd birthday until he was 16. He developed a desire for the keepers shirt when big Pete arrived. So 3 a season for him
His son, my grandson started a little earlier
