Simples Beispiel:hin und zurück zu meinen Eltern (350 km pro Richtung). Bei denen kann ich vor Ort das Auto nicht ausreichend schnell laden. Die einzige natürliche Pause reicht also nicht. Das würde mich ärgern.

Nach weniger als 3h möchte ich definitiv nicht gezwungen werden, nur weil der Akku leer ist.
Dass Routenplanung entlang von Ladepunkten noch obligatorisch sind bei langen Autofahrten ist leider ein dicker Komfortverlust gegenüber der Vergangenheit. Kann man nicht leugnen.

My theory is that a 'social welfare brake' in the constitution would have sounded scarier but would in practical terms lead to better politics than the debt brake because real-life politicians will always choose handouts over infrastructure and investment to buy votes.

Danke für diese persönliche Perspektive. Allerdings verstehe ich vollkommen die grüne Perspektive, die meiner auch näher steht. Denn als offensichtlicher Gegenbeweis Ihrer Erzählung reichen die rot-blauen Koalitionen in Kärnten und Burgenland. Die habe, als Deutscher, noch sehr präsent vor Augen.
