I have some *feelings* on Clair Obscur. Structurally, it's rather unremarkable. Combat aside, I find the gameplay, questing, and exploration rote. But that's not what this team is interested in, I don't think. This is a game about details. Narrative details, combat details, audiovisual details.

Pardon me - I am about to be complainy for a moment. I have barely slept the last five days, and my brain and body are greatly suffering for it. Last night, I took a benzo *and* a Benadryl thinking I'd be out cold - and I just laid there tired.

I wore this hat yesterday to the grocery and the cashier almost fell over laughing. Quite a feat in Belgium!

Games rarely get interruptions right - as in, characters interrupting each other in dialogue. Oxenfree did it right, and now, Clair Obscur. It seems an odd thing to be impressed by, I know, but that one detail means so much.
