It's so frustrating because clearly racism is bad, but treating it how they have is so lazy. Last arc clearly those wanting nobility to stay above peons were wrong, we can also say that with our modern beliefs already in place, but the characters and issues had nuance and weren't just Mr. Evil

Could've actually had it prey on his real racist beliefs under the surface and had some real nuance with a character that you're trying to make go from unlikable to redeemed so the "issue" they're trying to touch on with the country is more than comically evil fools but no, too much work

This is the worst one by far because they were 🤏🏼 close to making something interesting and tying it in with the arc and got scared at the last second and removed any potential intrigue because it would make Maxim have a flaw, terrible stuff
