Could Truss get any stranger? I do seriously question whether she has seen a doctor about the potential for early onset dementia?

He’s such a charmer 🙃

Wouldn’t have thought he was particularly popular up there. Won’t demonstrating rather than just ignoring him just provide more media fodder.

I find your postings very useful and I’m certainly not going to stop on the recommendation of a self-appointed judge. I tend not to pay much attention to Bluesky’s lists as I prefer to review the accounts I choose to follow.

Mikey 7 (the book it was based on) is absolutely brilliant. Movie didn’t get great reviews, but looking forward to seeing it when the streaming price is a bit lower.

Re how many popes in your lifetime, Leo XIV is No 8 for me. Think that’s likely to take some beating — you have to be 86+ to have been around for Pius XI.

She’s a great political cartoonist and a person of real integrity. Very pleased to see she’s been recognised in this way.

Ouch! Weirdly that is harsh on both of them.

They certainly haven’t been. I understand that every single Labour MP from a Welsh constituency voted against Crown Estate profits coming directly to us (as happens in Scotland).

Well this is a bit of a turn up for the books…

You art seems to come up in my feed almost miraculously when you post a scene close to where I once lived (in this case Elmslie Point tower block just off Burnett Road).

That’s a bit unfair to self-publishers. The vast majority of them are nothing like as big a w⚓️.

Is this the junction with Burnett Road?

Not particularly surprised. Around 15 years ago I was based in an office on B2. We regularly experienced internal flooding with water running down the walls in the corridors. We were told it came from the theatre sluices.

It’s weird stuff. I can taste it, but have never been able to smell it; although I have pretty good sense of smell overall.

Wrong colour. It would have been green, blue and black.

Philistine! It’s absolutely beautiful!

Taking your parameters, I think I’d go for this Chihuly chandelier.

We’ve had breakfast clubs in Wales for some years. Why wouldn’t you when the evidence indicates the benefits of doing it.

We can only hope the moron follows a similar political trajectory from here

On this side of the Atlantic we call it the Liz Truss effect.

Nicely done. I saw the news and wondered whether or not to say something similar. Not an issue any more.
