That our biggest newspaper chain is foreign owned was probably never a good idea. But as we face an erratic US president it becomes more urgent to ask: If Postmedia needed to choose between what’s good for its American owners and what’s good for Canada, what would they choose? How would we know?

These allegations go from bad to worse. Now they include that Minister of Health Adriana LaGrange deliberately interfered with the investigation into inflated contracts and took over their negotiations. If true, this would be a cover up of one of the biggest political scandals Alberta has seen.
