i have grappled with anticipatory grief for a while. I've struggled with sudden grief recently. I've floated helplessly in my own mind, trying to find solid ground.
so instead I gave Henry and Alex solid ground. 💛

i wrote this to cope with my own grief. 💛 love exists in so many forms. grief is one of them. but at the end of the day, it's still love. i needed to sit in the good feelings of love and humanity for a while. escape the grief for a moment.

In the movie Interstellar, Dr. Brand says, "Love is the one thing we're capable of perceiving that transcends dimensions of time and space. Maybe we should trust that, even if we can't understand it."
This book felt like the most beautiful examination of this sentiment. Gosh. So so so so lovely.
