I truly do not understand why this is even debatable. Expelled, period.

Five dead, four missing in Wheeling, WV. Four inches of rain fell in thirty minutes. I just had good friends move there - luckily I've heard from them and they are safe. Just absolutely tragic.

My dog ate an entire bag of Scrabble tiles so I took him to the vet No word yet

Hang onto your socks, I'm about to tell you the best dad joke you ever done heard. Did you know that Norway puts barcodes on all of their ships? It's so that when the ships return to port, they can Scandinavian

Every day that Trump wakes up sad, because the cracks in his facade made him realize he's a clown.... that's a good day for the rest of us. The policy stuff is obviously crucial and important, and exposing the people implementing it is clutch. But fascism works better when leaders look strong.

political press is doing a real disservice by basically not reporting the nuances of public opinion on deportations, and creating the appearance that most americans support the stephen miller-style gestapo tactics

FOR THE WIDOWS / FOR THE DOLLS / TIL I'VE ROBBED THE PALACE HALLS / TIL ALL THESE SHERIFFS FALL / AH SHOOT SHOOT MASTER ARCHER / AH SHOOT SHOOT GOOD MAN

We do need mass movement but I gotta say this. Folks who just got energized need to make space for the resentment of folks who have been shouting this whole time, including the left & Black people. People who are part of this collective who have legitimate bitterness at how they've been treated.

police state

I dunno if like three to five times as many random people were in the streets to protest as there are total members of the entire military (active duty plus reserves) I might make that more than a one-day story instead of the limp, sad-trombone parade he forced on a few of those military members

For the Ones Missing Their Dad Today ❤️‍🩹

Damn.

Happy Father’s Day to everyone (regardless of gender or child-having-status) whose back hurts today — you’re one of us

More than 1 million in Boston! www.wcvb.com/article/more...

I didn’t even know Noah Wyle and Bryan Cranston had dated, let alone that they had a daughter together

Are the two people who drove their cars into people yesterday and the person who shot at people in Utah all white men? The person who murdered Democratic politicians yesterday was. Are we allowed to connect the dots? Will be media write exposes asking why white men are so violent? Or no?

For those unfamiliar, Fortunate Son (a banger) is a song about how the poor are taxed and sent to die in Vietnam while the rich dodge the draft and taxes at home.

The military parade turned out to be a great idea. Worth every penny. Forget we said anything, we take it all back!

Proud of Minnesotans

The lesson of the century: Listen to Black women THE FIRST TIME.

The erasure of poor Black immigrants in these United States has ALWAYS been a thing. Poor Black immigrants are demonized within their immigrant communities (classism), within the broader Black community (xenophobia), and across the globe (anti-Blackness). #blacksky

the story today is of a profoundly low energy military parade being met with millions of americans in nationwide protests denouncing the dictatorial pretensions of the president

They said the children are our future

They shut it down so nobody can talk about his fuckass parade

Over 2,000 peaceful protests happened in all 50 states. Millions marched against Trump’s fascist agenda. #NoKingsDay may be the biggest anti-administration protest in modern U.S. history. #RESIST #DefendDemocracy

"A man who was arrested for impersonating an officer during the Chicago ICE protests in the Loop Thursday afternoon had a loaded weapon when he was taken into custody, according to police sources."

today's protests: kind of notable to me how many signs had guillotines on them and how little the boomers cared about it

There’s something powerful about protests in smaller communities. While there's a unique energy to large protests, these local actions remind us what it’s really about: showing up, speaking out, and building community—and power—together. #NoKings

The fact that people turned out in huge numbers to protest in Minnesota even after a right-wing chud assassinated a Democratic member of the legislature is a good example of why we are going to win.

Look at my superpower

Holy crap! They played Creedence Clearwater Revival’s song “Fortunate Son.” Someone is clearly mocking Cadet Bonespurs. Someone is going to be shot. Here’s the original version with lyrics!😂🤣

White people need to take accountability for the situation we are in and have the courage to stand up against it, as POC have time and again forever. We have to be loud. We HAVE to speak up when we witness racism from our family and friends. Staying silent is still choosing a side.

Please share this even if you can't give, she hasnt reached hee goal yet and only needs $100

This is The Way.

Just one elected democrat asking a MSM host or reporter to declare they support democracy when they push both side narratives would go a long way.

UPDATE: I FOUND FUNDING TO REPLACE THE CANCELLED GRANT. HALLELUJAH. Thanks to everyone who checked in!

If I'd been going to a city I would have gone with the Wee Free Men, but in a town of a few thousand I went with LIVE FREE = NO KINGS Because cognitive dissonance can be powerful.

You absolutely can care about and fight for Palestine and trans rights and racial justice and environmental justice and land back and abolition and reparations and intersectional feminism and economic justice and healthcare and housing and education for everyone. It's actually all the same fight.
