They haven't forgotten. People keep voting them back into office regardless of what they do thereby encouraging the behavior. If they never face consequences (losing elections) for their actions why would they ever act any differently?

I also really don't care about general polls because I always expect these percentages for Trump and Musk. That's the Dem party + any independents and fringe GOP members that haven't lost their minds entirely. Wake me up when they're getting these numbers exclusively from GOP voters.

Absolutely. There can definitely still be a monetary element to it. Especially for people that need mental health care from a professional in order to function properly and give/receive love and affection adequately. I know that without my meds I probably wouldn't be nearly as good of a parent.

I just realized I listed "housing" and "shelter." Oopsies. Point still stands that almost every foundational need a person has is acquired with money. The only one that immediately comes to mind that isn't is love and affection from those close to you.

BriceInkling138, the person you responded to, never said anything about buying stuff at 7/11. He just said he wouldn't buy the product either. There are also many things in convenience stores that aren't sold by Hershey's, Coca-Cola, and Pepsi.

Which really makes your first reply weird. Especially considering there's no indication of the first guy being a Hershey's or Coca-Cola or Pepsi customer. For all you or I know, BriceInkling138 has never bought anything from a corporation in their life. Unlikely but we have no proof otherwise.

They're in the "find out" stage that happens right after the "fuck around" bit.

I promise you that Mr Beast isn't gonna get on here to read your comment and think about what a good little soldier you are for whataboutism-ing his brand.

Rich people are hilarious when they talk like this. Money literally creates happiness. You need it for food, housing, clothing, shelter, entertainment, transportation, and everything else in life. I don't know a single person who would be less happy with more money.

No problem. I still didn't agree with the league offices being tax exempt but it was a miniscule amount compared to everything that was always taxed. Personally, I find it annoying that religious institutions remain tax free while openly lobbying politicians and dictating government policy.

The NFL hasn't been tax exempt since 2015. The 501(c)(6) also only applied to the league office, not the NFL Ventures partnership that manages their business activities. Individual teams were always taxed normally. The situation was a lot less controversial than people made it out to be.

Sometimes the mailers aren't about getting your vote at all. If a house is close to a district border sometimes it's worthwhile to send a mailer in hopes that the household, who might not be in your district, will talk about you as a candidate with friends/family that are in your district.

I think it would've been better if it was left as Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. The Veilguard/Veilguard just isn't as nice of a name.

I cannot express how much disgust I have over Canada and Mexico trying to appease our would-be dictator this week. Even if what they offered is close to what they were already doing we all learned in the 1930s/1940s what trying to appease a person like this leads to.

We are not doing well. Half of us are deeply concerned about our standing in the international community and the other half are cheering for us to become isolationist weirdos.

I know Microsoft is capable of eating the Game Pass loss for a long time but they'll eventually get tired of it and start trying to turn a profit. A company can't give away 5-15 new games a year for $15/month forever. Eventually prices will skyrocket just like Netflix.

This is exactly what a XIV GM would say to throw us off the trail.
