The whole point of the venture is to inform people. The point of the memberships -- what I was talking about -- is to become sustainable to be able to fulfill that mission on its own without the need for those funders

Yes there are. I regularly work with them.
KQED has folks in different sections, but I mean the news side. To my knowledge at KQED there was a photo editor and a staff photographer and that's it.

I haven't thought about it. I'll have to give it some consideration. It might depend on how it's used, it might be unilateral.
But the funny part about the visuals is, even with the use of AI, The Standard employs more visual staff than I've had at any of my last publications.

Ooooo see Disney Plus is a favorite of mine ever since X-Men '97, so I take that as a high compliment.
