Been re-studying history lately going back to Hasmonian Dynasty. The area of historical vs Biblical Israel and history of Palestine are rich in demographic changes.
The biggest problem is religious beliefs. Hebrews, Jews, Israelites and Shia, Sunni views vie for total control.
