I tried it out this weekend and mostly spent about an hour doing the linne combo trials but it seems neat. I don’t know how the online looks nowadays but I’ll poke at it more if I find other beginner players there

yea like, with the way this site operates I just don't feel super comfortable with it which is frustrating because i feel like i'd want to share more stuff like that assuming people were normal about it. I just dont want to be embarrased about that kinda stuff anymore! We're supposed to have fun!

Gpool here’s my dark secret: I played sonic chronicles back in the day and kinda enjoyed it. (This was before I knew games could be bad though so take it with a Huge grain of salt lol)
Also I loved spirit tracks! I liked having zelda be your travel partner in that one for a change

Also yea I think like, thinking about your characters’ food and drink preferences is a fun exercise to do! Pallete for example loves sweets. Gimmick likes pretty plain/mild things imo, he’s the water drinker of the three. See also:

Been feeling kinda bad lately that I haven’t gotten to finish any drawings I’ve wanted to for a variety of reasons but it’s nice that I can still do little stuff like this for weekly drawpiles at least. Turns out drawing with other people around is surprisingly effective at getting you to draw stuff

Newgrounds’ whole thing feels like it’s Very skewed towards fanart. It’s also got this thing called the Art Scout system, where if you want your stuff to even appear in the main art portal, you gotta have someone find you and “scout” you. And you only get scouted by making “”high-quality art”” 2/2

oh pillowfort is fine in terms of community. I just meant it’s a bit hard to find people on there that’s all. Aside from that, I think it’s a neat platform, I just wish more people gave it a chance

I’m glad that I’m able to do colored drawings like this in one sitting much more consistently now. I remember when something like this would have taken me at least a few days to plan out and draw before. I still want to focus on getting faster though while not losing too much quality as a trade off

I wanna stream more, it’s been fun! I’ve been a little unsure of what I wanna stream next since I kinda wanna do something that everybody will like and not just me y’know? But maybe I shouldn’t overthink it and just do whatever haha
