I'll explain this more later on when I've got more done and together, but for now, literal flames from part of a #3dprint sword project I'm working on for a friend. Managed to get it to print hollow with a "clear" filament so we can test putting LEDs inside.

Some more hobby desk updates~ Printed out a different keyboard holder moved the monitor up to make room for it. Started testing some tool holders, & hot glued some printed black caps for the panel mounts. Also made some threaded inserts for the wire holes in the desk to clean up the look.

@aoc.bsky.social @sanders.senate.gov You two need to start *now* with reviewing all districts that will be even a remote potential for switching in the next election, as well as any D-controlled areas that may be either on shaky ground or need to have a weak representative replaced.

Shoulder pauldron #3dprint out of black Sunlu PLA, part of a bigger setup I'm helping a friend put together for wearing to his WH40K tabletop tourneys. The print was split into three pieces to fit on my two X1C's, each piece took about a day to print (0.2 mm, 15% infill).

Follow up on the hobby desk #3dprint setup. Made a hanger for the wireless keyboard and took someone's suggestion and also printed some USB port plugs to prevent dust buildup in the openings as I don't expect to be using them.

Moving slowly along organizing my new room. The piece of granite countertop I was going to use for a hobby desk snapped, so I modified a Home Depot butcher block countertop instead. Started putting together the #3dprint custom mounts for my mini PC on the Skadis pegboard.

@georgetakei.bsky.social Dude, I voted against this, and I still feel like I need to apologize to you that our country is sliding right back into the bullshit you had to suffer through as a child. I was so hopeful that you'd get to spend the next several years posting about good things.
