In recent years I've felt warry following / subscribing to (content) creators, especially ones that make weapons & such, because there's always that feeling of an underlying risk of "they seem cool, but they turn out to be supporting the asshats". So glad I followed your work, you're fucking cool.

Let's be real, we all lived through decades of Kojima's fever dream made real (or as real as a video game series can be).

US tech industries would've benefited from a materials agreement with Ukraine, and US construction and industry businesses would've seen a major boom in helping reconstruct an entire country torn apart by a foreign invasion. Instead, TFG gets his pockets lined and a pat on the back from Putin.

Except they didn't. If anything, the war was good for the US economy. It meant that munitions built to fight the Russians which are now outdated for our military are being used to fight the Russians, meaning US companies are being employed to rebuild stock.

As I've said repeatedly over the past fifteen years - I miss the people, I miss the projects, I miss the passion, but I don't miss working in the game industry. The fact you can slave your ass off for years just to be let go once the product's out the door isn't exactly incentive to continue.

This time they control the whole narrative, so it doesn't matter if they don't find anything, they can still run a smear campaign and the media will just play along.

You have to get to that point first.

The heavily patina'd copper one, mind sharing how you did that finish? I finally got my print cleaned up and want to do something like a hammered copper (spray paint) finish and put a bit of patina on it.

For the former, identify all prospects and have them start campaigning now, even at a grassroots level; for the latter, tell existing reps to get their act together or you'll be backing their potential replacement. We shouldn't be waiting til then to get the ball rolling.

What size was the thread you used for screwing the pieces together? 👀

And no way to report it here as false / incorrect information on the app or website. Effing disgusting.

Exactly! Want folks to vote for you? Get your ass out there and let them know from the get-go of this horror show of a government that you're there for them and will continue to be so.

Had some *really* bad spaghetti on one of the pieces, fortunately it was only among the tree supports, and somehow the supports rebuilt themselves on top of the spaghetti so it came out ok. Gaps in the seams are only due to holding it together with painter's tape and needing to clean some edges.

Sports is right up there with religion as things that can f off, and how lazy are you to need a generated summary that's more likely than not going to be wrong?

You always do such an amazing job with the NIKKE cosplays (and all the other cosplays for that matter)!

Lived and worked in Silicon Valley my entire life. The actual Silicon Valley - the area that started and continues to develop the semiconductor industry. These programmers buying offices in SF are not, and never will be, Silicon Valley.

It was proven TFG and his family were using personal servers during the first go-round, and f-all was done about it.

Genuinely so envious that you've gotten to go over there in a "hope you have an absolutely awesome time and can't wait to hear about the trip" kind of way.

They need to not ask him questions but tell him statements, especially ones that would get him angry at folks like Elona. "Sir, are you aware that...?"

Even if it meant an increased memory usage, would really appreciate the option to have the app remember where it was when swapped out & back to instead of having it just go to the newest post. If I'm looking something up or want to show a post to someone in person on the phone, I'd want it to stay.

Seriously, thank goodness for video games. Even when they're stressful, it's nice to be stressed about something you can just turn off and walk away from if you need to.

AJR's 3'oclock things:
Stay out of politics, stay on the fence
Stay out of all of it to keep half your fans
Isn't this obvious? Am I insane?
There might be two sides to everything that you say
It's all a bit cloudy but there's one thing I know
That if you're fucking racist then don't come to my show

Just FYI, I'm friends with one of the people in that photo, that is not a correct showing of who lost their lives on that flight. My friend shared with me the Instagram page for The Skating Lesson that covers who was lost. www.instagram.com/theskatingle...

It is hands down my favorite anime, arguably one of my favorite shows. Every episode pretty much stood on its own while still sneaking along the overarching story.

My sis had one, the brown-green ones. She still has it, in fact. Don't think it works anymore. Always thought they were far cooler than the ipods were. Loved that they gave one to Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Curious if you've played Caravan SandWitch? It's more of an adventure game, but the vehicle off-roading in it was a lot of fun.

Right? At least some places are actually moving forward, instead of sliding backwards like the US is now doing at full tilt.

Usually when modern takes on classic games come around they ruin them (looking at you, Doom Eternal), but this series did an amazing job of continuing the classic American past time of murdering Nazis.
