I plan on going at some point, yes. Do you have tickets yet? I want to stay in town, close to the Botang, on a Sunday night, go to Lightscape on the Monday night, spend a second night in town and then drive off to work on the Tuesday morning. I realise this might not fit your plans, though.

It certainly is different from the call I’m accustomed to down south, but I’m not sure I completely agree with Pizzey. 😆 PS: I’m loving the friarbird’s call. In fact I reckon it comes closer to appalling (in a creepy way) than the blue-winged kookaburra.
