NEW - Broad St downtown will have a two-way bike lane along the south side of the street, w/center-running BRT lanes and landscaped medians in some spots. Some details may still change (like exact width, landscaping, etc), but this is the plan. Completion in 2028.

As a year-round Edmonton cyclist, I heartily applaud these efforts. Would it have been nice had Edmonton given me studded tires? Yes. Am I glad that they went to someone else instead? Also yes.
