A new bill by OK's Dusty Deevers criminalizes drag in public, with mandatory prison time. The bill, SB550, uses "harmful to minors" designation — the same language being used to ban adult sites via age-verification. SB550 has passed out of committee and headed for a full Senate vote.

These tariffs are going to kill so many manufacturing jobs that there might be a real chance at reform in America. Which is something someone more idealistic than me would say. The bigots will still be bigots regardless if they're unemployed and unable to buy a new truck or the parts to roll coal.
