DHS is trying to get around that by issuing their "guidance" and trying to define a difference between a field office and a detention center regardless of both being used to detain aliens. They're not actually attempting to get the law itself changed. What is so hard for you to understand here?

They had to sue until they could get the law changed. That is not the same as what you're trying to argue here. Challenges to laws happen all the time, but as long as judges are doing their jobs properly those challenges fail unless and until the laws themselves are changed.

First you say, "Our laws are rarely simply black and white." Now you say, "No laws are black and white." You can't even keep whatever argument you think you're trying to make here straight.

More help: * It is law that members of Congress can inspect any ICE facility detaining/housing aliens without prior notice * DHS is trying to differentiate field offices from detention facilities * If ICE is detaining aliens at field offices, that doesn't protect them from unannounced inspection

I'll help: DHS knows what they're doing is wrong, so they're trying to cover it up by attempting to differentiate between types of facilities and get members of Congress to give prior notice first. Every piece of info out there makes it clear: Congress does not have to give prior notice first.

You should ask yourself why Homeland Security is trying to change things to get advance notice of 72 hours instead of an unannounced oversight visit being legal today. Then ask yourself why DHS would need to go this route try to have that changed. Since you think you know so much here.

There are many laws that are black and white. What you're getting confused over here is when people try to circumvent those laws and judges have to rule on it in order to make them stop what they're trying to do. This matter is a black and white one. You're wrong again.

Well, you got the last part of that correct, and it started with you when you opened your mouth and tried to sound like you knew what you were talking about.

You're wrong on this one, John.

They want time to hide what they're doing. That's all.

Trump's unending need to be the center of attention and the main focus is going to only lead to more people around the world dying.

Would 100% believe he's involved too. Fits both of their styles of rhetoric.

This is good to try to get looked into for improvement and change. A large problem is also a moderation setup that is easily abused by, for example, crybullies who act abusive toward others and have groups of followers who can mass report someone, and moderation is unresponsive and unhelpful.

He's done little to nothing to quell the ongoing disputes around the world, and has especially done nothing to make things more peaceful in America. He is all about chaos and uncertainty he seeks to take advantage of.
