A message from Carl Sagan from 1995—some of his last prophetic words.

Are you a woman who changed your name when you got married? Congress is considering a bill that could make it much harder for you to vote. Call your rep—this is not a drill. indivisible.org/resource/cal...

As proud unionized postal workers, this is an urgent time to speak up and be heard! Talk to your coworkers, family, friends, and elected officials about the dangers of postal privatization, and why it's important for the postal service to remain a public entity.

pro tip: if your government claims to have no money for children's heathcare but will eagerly waste millions on a gaudy military parade to stroke the fragile ego of a broken-inside president, you just might live in a shithole country

Over $10 trillion.

NEW: SCOTUS, in a 5-4 vote, lifts a judge's nationwide orders blocking fast-tracked deportations of immigrants that the Trump administration claims are members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. SCOTUS says each immigrant must file a petition individually to stop deportation.

BREAKING NEWS: The order marks a win for the Trump administration, even if temporary, and it could well be a harbinger of things to come as the administration continues to clash with federal courts.

NEW: The Supreme Court took 6 months to decide immunity, but just 6 days to effectively strip the rest of us of due process. My latest: www.muellershewrote.com/p/the-corrup...

Is this really when democracy dies in the dark? There was a constitutional crisis and Roberts was like, nah. So much for the Consitution the SCOTUS is always harping about.

Well F* SCOTUS just burned the Constitution they love so much.

This has always been the GOP's strategy: 1) Cut taxes for the wealthy & corporations by claiming they'll pay for themselves. 2) Explode the deficit. 3) Demand cuts to vital programs that help millions. 4) Repeat. They're trying to get away with it again.

More of this energy thank you

When you've even pissed off the lawyers....

Reminder no. 871: Congress can stop this insanity any time it so chooses. Under the Constitution, *Congress*, not the President, has the power to tax and to impose tariffs. They gave it away. They can take it back. Call your Congress reps, especially if they are GOP. Tell them: ENOUGH!

Funny how they got their President yet they're still mad.
