I once took some cops into the woods where I'd found a duffel bag that had a tuft of hair and an ear sticking out of it. One cop displayed his medical knowledge by poking the bag with a stick.... which trumped my stamping on the ground while clapping. Now I'm a nurse. You're probably doing it right.

True story: I was at the show at the Palace in 1988 when they recorded Now It Can Be Told. During Somewhere With DEVO, Mark pulled me on stage where I marched in place during the Shout breakdown. When he says "he's ready to dive" I stage dived into the crowd. I am the He :)

I grew up watching shows at the Reseda Country Club in LA in the 80's and 90's, then the Vancouver punk scene from the 90's onward. It was dangerous, aggressive, sometimes life altering, but never to be missed. It was a blast and i wouldnt have done it any other way :)
