Something I didn’t know until recently: Executive orders aren’t laws. Executive orders must comply with the constitution. The institutions jumping to follow hollow or illegal EOs are doing so by choice. I’m trying to avoid doomposting but this is a distiction I think everyone should know.

If you ever have the chance to visit the Ghibli museum in Tokyo do it. Piles of Miyazaki’s sketches. Buckets of his pencil nubs. Paintings of such depth you wonder at the genius and reflect on your own vision of the world. It’s an astounding, empowering spiritual experience. This.. isn’t even close.
