He once told Joe Biden to step aside for new leadership. Maybe that was right, maybe it wasn’t. But it’s time for Schumer to take his own advice. Step aside. If not, the party will continue to weaken and we will keep losing.

There’s always been corruption and self-dealing in the U.S., but Musk and Trump are doing it all so publicly that I’m struggling to think of anything comparable in history.
It’s downright cartoonish. We live in a cartoon reality where the bad guy’s criminal acts can be understood by a toddler.

I was masked until last spring. Got a lot of shit for it, but never caught Covid. Finally, I had to stop masking because no one would hire me! Unmasked, got a job right away ( I work with the public).

People are dying because Trump illegally cut off foreign aid. He’s purging civil servants and law enforcement officers deemed insufficiently loyal. He unilaterally suspended Medicaid and froze trillions in funding. All of this is unlawful! And Democrats are … touting areas of bipartisan compromise?

She asked for kindness & mercy & the entire right experienced it as a grave insult. They're not faking it either -- the idea that they should be empathetic, care about other, lesser people, really does upset them, at a gut level.
