Countless organisations and broadcasters in the developed world: "We must preemptively kowtow to right wing sensibilities, otherwise they might get mad at us" Russell T Davies:

I would love it if Dr. Who became a multicam production again, essentially a space soap opera

Also my new phone's screen is so good I can see that the red background on this is slightly paler on the left and right edges😶 whoops

Finally got my new phone today! I've never owned a new phone before, I've only ever had second-hand before The best part though? The plan they initially sold me was £48 a month (ludicrous), but now I actually have it it's only £9 a month (manageable)!

Good for them 🏳️‍⚧️

8am as Dr. Who's new release time is genuinely so funny, I hope those that complained about the midnight releases are happy now that the episodes are dropping at an even less convenient hour

Help! I seem to remember ages ago hearing somewhere that, when Gerry Davis was writing Dr. Who and the Cybermen, he began writing it for the then-current Dr. Who (Pertwee) before being told to write it for Troughton instead. I can't find a source for this though, any help would be appreciated!

my new answer to any question re: why i made something a certain way in one of my games that you don't like

This is about comics but goes for all creative jobs. Enjoying your job does not pay electricity bills.

I think this applies to all media and genres. If you don't absorb plenty of the thing you want to make, you won't know the territory and will end up reinventing the wheel. If you ONLY absorb that thing, you end up regurgitating what's gone before.

big tesco

Boning up on The Tenth Planet for the video I'm working on, and this is very very funny

Lovely article here in which BBC DG Sir Hugh Greene defends #DoctorWho from criticism in 1965. And a Dalek photo I’ve not seen before. From The Banbury Guardian, 28/01/65.

Bloody hell

Currently reading the original Blake's 7 novelization, and I'm glad it felt the need to specify that Avon weighs 175 pounds

The wait is over. Cwej: Fragments of Totality, featuring Iris Wildthyme, is OUT NOW! US paperback: tinyurl.com/ms4n739k UK paperback: tinyurl.com/32semam5 Ebook: payhip.com/b/dSbc4

Blake's 7 Series B in a nutshell

found a scan of the official Pac-Man joke book and some of these are just dark, man

Here's the second drabble, thanks to the very generous flightred50.bsky.social! The Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday in "Secrets".

Well @gallifreyone.bsky.social starts today! So Braxiatel and I are getting prepared!

God bless being able to pass the buck up the chain of command (and all who sail in her)

The way the UK armed forces are advertised is scary man I swear, the way it's all very deliberately targeting emotionally vulnerable people really makes my skin crawl

Genuinely gobsmacked that this exists, kudos Big Finish for keeping a lid on it! youtu.be/5VQRsSVZTZU?...

Just remembered that part of 'Wistful Wild' from Pikmin 2 that sounds like Morshu

oh hey i knew i had this laying around somewhere!

Chris Cwej returns in “Fragments of Totality”, a collection of new short stories, bridging the gap between “Down the Middle” and the adventures to come in “Hidden Truths”. www.arcbeatlepress.com/news-and-upd...

Feeling blessed that the new edit of Fear Her does justice to my favourite line in all Dr. Who 🙏

It doesn't matter how many times I experience the ending of Mother 3, it never fails to make me ugly cry. No matter how prepared I think I am, it always gets me. Such a powerful work of art.

After almost three years, I finally have regular access to a computer again! And my goodness I'd forgotten just how nice it is to use the internet through a dedicated terminal rather than through a mobile telephone

Good question

Good question

Happy Birthday Pikmin 1!

It's strange to think

A can of beans is a can indeed
