There probably won't be any streams next week, as I've got a lot of incredibly fun outings planned with my boyfriend for my birthday~ Just expecting to be big exhausted, since there's only so much I can do with my fatigue issues being what they are.

Welp, after over a year the stock cable on my favourite pair of IEMs died aha~ Thank god they're replaceable ^^ Honestly, non-replaceable cables in audio products has become a big red flag to me, since that's the thing most likely to break on you. And I'm absolutely done with wireless earbuds tbh.

Well, the turntable arc is finally over. Cashies refunded me the full amount (including postage) for the audio equipment that arrived damaged and in need of repair. So yay, I'm not bringing the stress from all of that into the weekend aha~

Used the blank side of my copy of Dark Space II by Darkspace (featuring such black metal hits as Dark 2.8, Dark 2.9, AND Dark 2.10) to dial in the anti-skate on this turntable. So productive morning I guess?

I ended up contacting the Cash Converters stores that I got the turntable and amp from, trying to organise a return. In the meantime, I caved and got a more modern Audio Technica direct drive table. It's pretty solid, and will serve as a nice base to build a new setup from ^^

The amplifier's also fucked, so I guess I'll just try and return both at this point. Hopefully get my money back. The table also has speed control issues which should be an easy fix, but at this point it's best to just give up before the sunk cost fallacy kicks in. Disappointing as hell, tbh.

Holy shit it's actually happening! We found a decent deal on an amp to hook the Technics SL-1500 turntable I've got coming in up to ^^. I'll probs reuse the speakers I've got for now as they're fairly solid, but yeah! Gonna be such a nice setup when it's all done~

(Small vent thread) One of the difficult parts of not being able to stream often due to health issues is honestly just that fear of being forgotten, or being seen as unreliable. It's also just incredibly hard to make any long-term goals because there's no guarantee I'll be able to complete them.
