Men of good taste. Miss the huge dining hall, havenât been to the new location yet.

The mobilization that happened during Trump 1.0 warded off the despair, at least for myself. This administration has not had similar mobilization, and has given way to despair. I pray that we are on the cusp of turning this ship around.

No totally. There was a huge backlash to the defund movement and chaos of Covid even among ostensibly liberal people in the city. Which is why I think this is Zohranâs race to lose. The NY Post alone is not enough to carry Cuomo to victory

I think this is probably true, Iâm just so far from what his campaigns target voter wasâ he immediately repulsed me. I thought Stringer couldâve beaten him prior to the allegations. But yeah, Yangâs collapse probably doesnât happen if Adams didnât run a solid campaign.

49% seems high for stringer lander and Zohran in first round⌠but we will see

I donât think Adams ran a particularly impressive campaign in the 2021 primary but it I am still somewhat surprised at how lethargic and uninspired this Cuomo campaign is.

Anyways Iâm about to get off work and go to the protest in Foley Square so hopefully that is therapeutic

Along with the hooting and hollering for his speech at Fort Bragg right now. Things donât feel great.

The protest just got 10 feet taller!

Yes. Artwork made from human excrement is also valuable as long as people are willing to pay for it

I just looked at her confirmation vote and how was their not unanimous opposition from the Democrats (sans Fetterman I guess). Like Andy Kim voted for her?!?!?!?

Not that there isnât space for regulation and to ban stuff like trumps blatant criminality with his coin, but a broad anti-crypto stance just doesnât make sense when bitcoin has created so much value
comment in response to

Itâs a lost issue, Dems are better off getting crypto money on their side I think. Bitcoin is gold of the digital age as much as I hate to admit it.

The Watto Allen tweet is classic tho

Would be somewhat humorous if it was his 3 SCOTUS appointees who put an end to this

S&P is still down 13% ytd! Since this could be hypothetically reversed any second, you are less likely to see panic selling that accompanied other financial crises.

Considering this is the first election since January 6th where Trump is president

I donât know why people arenât considering the possibility of Trump/Musk contesting a Dem victory in WI.

I think itâs starting to break through to the normies. We are barely 2 months in, but anecdotally Iâve talked to a bunch of <25 yr old, not trumpy but not lib dudes (basically my social circle), who think these guys are lunatics.

AOC/Bernie endorsement rally for Zohran in some beautiful May weather would be generational

Crazy that the comment section of @ Rap was literally one of the first indicators of a huge right shift among young men
comment in response to

Such a marked difference from 2017-2020 IG when it was seen as a place of lib virtue signaling. Thatâs why the âvibe shiftâ stuff gets me mad bc itâs not a vibe shift, itâs just right wing agitprop being pumped into <30 y/o brains

Thinking of how close Joe Salazar was to winning the 2018 AG primary :/

The DOE has half as many employees as the NYC Sanitation Department. And itâs âpopularâ because who doesnât like education? Just a very stupid fight to pick for them

Hoping there is an ambitious state rep with good media skills who jumps in. Considering the amount of state reps in New Hampshire this seems plausible

One of previous barbers was a early 20s Puerto Rican dude from Canarsie and was always posting QAnon adjacent stuff on his instagram stories, but really nice guy and great barber lmao

Regardless of whether casting a vote for Trump amounts to âmoving rightâ, the mayoral election will have less than half the voters that 2024 did. And I donât think Manhattan liberals will be the ones sitting out

I was distraught by the amount of ex-mil and spooks running in 2018 elections bc I am/was in the Bernie camp, but between J6 and now my view has definitely changed on that
