I wanted to yell 'no they wouldn't, they would have been stabilized in the ER then kicked out and died with massive debt', but he was in a lot of pain at the time so it probably wouldn't have helped. Now he's on an SSRI for the first time and not saying shitty things! But fuck that made me mad.

My father-in-law went through a pretty serious health situation last year (had an infection in his spine following a surgery), but at one point during recovery he went on a rant about how he worked his whole life and Some People didn't do anything and still get the same health care for free.

Regardless of what the world was like when they were 20, they still have the capacity to participate in society today and learn how things have changed. That they refuse to do so says everything you need to know about them, fuck their judgemental bullshit about people having cell phones or whatever.

The flyer is certainly embarrassing enough to be from 1991 or 1994. Trying to play on teen boys' fears of not being masculine enough because they're playing Game Boy lol god the 1990s sucked so bad for this kind of shit.

once you have developed actual principles, the constant shifting of what is legal simply does not matter. all of this is made up, all of society is, none of this is real. the only thing that is real is love and our duty to each other

As always, stuff I don't have goes into the collection after a thorough cleaning; duplicates (including the consoles in this case) are either sold to my favorite local used game store for store credit or given away to friends.

Put them with the rest of my game collection, sure, but like do I just fold them up in the closet or should I put one in a frame or something? 🤔

I'm over superhero movies and shows, but we started watching it and it's really good!
