Oh, I’ll be specific since you’re from around here: it’s between Wando’s and Jay’s Bar.

(They're all similar in terms of the composition and subjects, but I can't decide which one I like the most)

(3/3) Overall, I'm very happy with the first few photos. Tag me you have any questions!

(2/3) The photos come out looking great. Each color of dye is applied one at a time, starting with yellow. The whole process wouldn't be too bad if this thing allowed me to print more than one photo before requiring a reboot!

Sweet! I’ve seen some people online saying they found a color profile that helps too?

Awesome. Yeah, my hope is to use it for quickly printing shots I like. And then I’ll order anything bigger online.

Any further updates? I'm strongly considering this thing for its combo of price and quality. Doesn't seem like anything comes close unless I spend 5x more 😬

How do you like it?

Random question for other photographers: I saw a post from chris.wltn on Threads about the Selphy CP1500 printer. It looks great, but the size limitations (4x6 in. maximum) annoy me. Are there any other great options for <$300 USD, ideally with a similarly cheap ($0.4) price per print?

(3/3) The colors of the trees in the area looked very interesting together, but I couldn't find a way to make them pop with a photo. Could be down to my use of a 35mm lens. So, I decided to edit this photo to look like it was shot in infrared, which feels unnatural.

(2/3) This one is a bit less ominous, but I was really hunting for interesting angles and I saw a great framing opportunity with the trees and brush here:

Just like with my photos of Offset, I also want to highlight the crowd: not only can people make for good framing, but showing that there’s action and people off-stage reminds the viewer that there are other fans out there. It’s a social proof thing.

I like both approaches. Each person in a band will want to post on social media, in addition to the band itself. Thus, it is important to provide everyone with options and angles!
I walked around the stage and back into the audience to make sure I didn’t miss opportunities.

While the lighting is great on the band members in the front, the back of the stage is generally left dark. This makes it hard to show off the whole band.
The solution, then, is to either get the entire stage in frame, or to get individual photos of each band member
