🏺🦣🧪 A cool skull but I'm going to add nuance. Toothlessness alone doesn't imply food provision. 100% gummy bonobos, our closest primate relations, cope OK. But in hominins, esp. from 500 ka, systematic butchery & transport of prey points to group food sharing, making such care more likely.

The biggest edit I've made is replacing the whole, dried chiles with 4 tbsps of ground red chile. It's not perfect, but a hell of a lot easier.
