It's crazy how much fun Sims 1 still is. Like the actual moment-to-moment gameplay is gripping. You take your eyes off your sim for one minute and he's insulting the neighbors and grilling burgers outside at 2am. It's like taking care of a goblin.

A few years ago, I thought Meta releasing AirLink on Quest would be the end of Virtual Desktop. This month I switched back to Virtual Desktop. My God, what an incredible experience it is compared to AirLink! I can't believe an app that used to require side-loading is humiliating Meta's alternative.

I played Pokemon Red religiously in 1999. I'd sit by the brick wall at recess with my Gameboy collecting Pokemon. I went through the final dungeon during a family trip to Water Country. Then I never touched the series again. I just knew I had seen everything Pokemon had to offer me. I was right.

Since 2003, anytime I install Morrowind, the very first thing I do before downloading any mods is copy the entire SimCity 4 OST into the Morrowind music folder. It fits. I can't explain why but it fits so damn well.
