Mike was right, it was always about Walter's pride and ego.

Smh, we all know Great Sword is the best weapon :)

Sacrifices and protesting are easier said than done though. You average person isn't going to risk losing money, especially in the global nightmare we're in right now. Most people wouldn't starve for their morals.

Dungeon Meshi?

Both are bad, both contribute to a decaying society.

I don't inherently agree, things aren't so black and white. Think about how many people simply haven't joined BSky, there are content creators and artists who i like that haven't switched to BSky.

Ah so many times i've felt this. It's why i love Final Fantasy 14, because it's an mmo with an amazing universe that won't end soon (hopefully).

He never had any intention on fixing the bot problem. He wanted to drag Twitter under and create a toxic platform.

Sony isn't as litigious and anal about emulation like Nintendo is thank god. Otherwise this would be cease and desisted so fast (probably)

The Quartering trying not to be completely obnoxious (impossible)

I like that the game feels more like a chatroom game for adults. I also like that there's 18+ servers for people who want that experience. Shows that the dev cares.

I feel you, what a shitshow. I hope Bluesky isn't a temporary platform. I hate Elon Musk and i hate how vitriolic and hateful Twitter has become. Twitter was always a shitshow but the past 10 years have been so much worse. I think ever since the Tumblr exodus things have been getting out of hand.

That's precisely what it means, someone who is considered a "snowflake" is usually someone with thin skin. It's not about "uniqueness" it's how you react to things. Nobody wants to be around people who meltdown over nothing. Of course it's overused nowadays, same with the term woke.

Call it an attention span the size of a flea or whatever. My problem is that whenever i do try to read my brain doesn't like it. I hate not having any visual references and i can't lose focus otherwise i will forget and restart that entire page like 5 times in a row. That's why i prefer audiobooks.

Funnily enough my favorite route now might be the new Fury simply due to how good the body horror is in that route now.

Depends i suppose, i lean more towards a dislike of them. I like that slow build up of dread that good Psychological Horror gives. I want it to be etched into my mind for a week and for me to question it. That being said i'm a sucker for Alien Isolation and that does have jumpscares.

If Trump and his cronies do win they are old and tired men. They won't be around for the next century. I believe that from now on the next generations will become more accepting. Times of political strife will happen but inch by inch we'll claw our way to a good society. Even if it takes centuries.

Humanity for all of it's flaws has endured for a lot longer than we ever think about. I think that i'm just tired of the constant Doomerism that social media pushes. I think my current philosophy is that while immorality and greed will never go away we can push it back through kindness and good acts
comment in response to post
History proves me right, how many civilizations collapsed or went downhill only for Humanity as a whole to keep on moving forward. Really that's all you can ever do, Keep Moving Forward.

Humanity as a whole will make it. Perhaps not you or i but the descendants of our descendants will exist. I am tired of this Doomer narrative that is so popular nowadays. Climate Change is going to suck, our descendants will probably look back at us with fascination and disgust. We do the same thing

Oh absolutely, the mech design is so peak i love it so much. Not to mention the environmental design of the world. Makes you realize that before Rubicon and Coral imploded that it was a golden age. More akin to the Dark Age of Technology in Warhammer 40k that anything else.

If the NG game cycles were just tacked on then i'd agree but entire boss fights, lore, and endings are tied to those giving it so much more replayability.

God i love that game, it became my hyperfixation for around the next 6 months after it released.

You need Moon Bases if you want Sci-Fi level starships that can go further out. This is how Humanity expands into space imho.
comment in response to post
As a person who is deeply invested into this topic i don't want Mars Colonization. I want Moon Bases. That would be infinitely more helpful due to how close it is. Moon Bases have a ton of useful functions such as making resupply missions easier, not having gravity limitations on spaceships.
