@ericlang.bsky.social @philwh.bsky.social finally got to play this game and really LOVED it! I know lots of people are saying 'my little blood rage' - but if anything, it feels more like 'my little ankh'. To me, this feels like ANKH wanted to be in terms dynamic area control shifting. 9/10

Finally got to play this game albeit solo a few times (around 3 different scenarios). Is it the deepest game? NO, it's the definition of a BEER & PRETZELS game. But the plug and play aspect is fantastic. Rulebook could be much better and a couple of card effect hiccups. So far, a 7-7.5/10 as a SOLO.

HOLY CRAP, Emmerson Matsuuchi IS THE MAN! He actually replicated the PSYCHO MANTIS MGS1 boss fight in board game version. Just this experience alone was absolutely worth the price of admission. Absolutely WELL DONE! 10/10 my hats off to you sir.

I feel really conflicted with this one. Technically a good rulebook, but too much text, not enough examples, and graphically looks really meh. I felt the game took longer to learn than it should. Good but not great yet high replay gameplay. I want to give it a 7, but I think it merits a 7.5-8/10.

This might be ROXLEY's BEST production so far. With the exception of one itty bitty nit-pick everything else is a SLAM DUNK and worth every penny IMO. I thought the original already had plenty, but they really outdone themselves this time. Even with my con's below this game to me is a 10/10.

Tried POKE POKE app because my Japanese friends were selling me into it. I thought the app would give a nice tutorial how to play the game....nope straight away try to get into LOOT and have to wait a couple of days just to get a pack going. Terrible.

LL: Star Wars feels like a nice step up to normal LL. The different winning conditions and some of the familiar yet different takes on the classics make a slightly more dynamic game. Love the 6 card, as it adds a nice push your luck mechanic. 8.5/10

For all Japanese learners who are struggling, keep going. The secret is time, persistence and most importantly, having fun learning the language. Burnt out? Go ahead and re-listen to that anime/drama/Japanese media you ENJOY for a while. I promise you the frustration you feel will fade.

I am finally more or less completing my set of first chapter and shimmering Lorcana cards. Getting a little bit addicted to the collecting aspect because it reminds me of my childhood days back in the Philippines. I might taper off a little bit and actually enjoy the game for a while.
